ILOG Gets Chosen for IBM’s Destination Z Mainframe and ISV Advantage Program
ILOG recently announced that it has been selected for IBM's Destination z Alliance Program, aimed to accelerate legacy modernization initiatives for IBM z-series customers. IBM Destination z is a community organization that mainly concentrates on accelerating the modernization of customer’s information technology environments to more efficiently operate their businesses.
Keeping in mind to enhance demand for System z-based decision management, ILOG
recently introduced ILOG Rules for COBOL that allows IBM customers to leverage the processing power of IBM System z for both new application development and for fitting rule-based decision management into existing ILOG Rules for COBOL applications.
The company also said that its been tapped for IBM's ISV Advantage program for small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMB). ILOG's business rule management system (BRMS) and optimization solutions gets promoted, by joining IBM’s ISV Advantage program, as part of IBM's portfolio of leading e-business SMB solutions in the Insurance, Banking, Capital Markets, Healthcare, and Public Sector areas.
Many of these solutions already incorporate ILOG JRules, used in concert with IBM's service-oriented architecture (SOA) frameworks, including WebSphere Business Services Fabric, WebSphere Process Server, and IBM ECM, and implemented by IBM Global Business Services.
