HTC Unveils Smart Phones For Business Users
Taiwan based smartphones maker HTC has launched three Windows mobile-based smart phones aimed at business and enterprise users.
Scott Horn, general manager of mobile communications business at Microsoft, praised the new handsets, saying, "Customers will be able to do more with their phone." HTC said that its Shift, S730 and P6500 handsets would meet the requirements of all business users.
The Shift is a mini Windows Vista powered notebook with a 7-inch touch sensitive "slide-n-tilt" screen. The handset also features HTC's SnapVUE technology that provides instant access to email, calendar, SMS and contacts.
The S730 is a followup to the S710 has 3G and a 400MHz processor. Like its predecessor, the S730 also features a sliding Qwerty keyboard.
Finally, the P6500 is designed for the enterprise market for use in a range of vertical sectors.
